It all started with a brick.

When the Western Reserve College Class of 1974 gathered for their 45th reunion in 2019, they had the opportunity to mark the occasion by donating an engraved paver stone at the newly expanded Frank N. and Jocelyne K. Linsalata Alumni Center. But a small group of classmates wanted to do more, and began planning a larger contribution.

At their 50th reunion during 窪蹋勛圖厙s Homecoming and Reunion Weekend in November, they officially announced the Western Reserve College Class of 1974 Endowed Scholarship Fundthe first endowed class gift at the College of Arts and Sciences. In addition to offering financial assistance for undergraduate students, contributors hope their gift will inspire future generations of alumni to give back.

Its never too early to start giving and there is no contribution too small to demonstrate your gratitude, said Jody Berman (WRC 74), who championed the fund. Its a wonderful opportunity to help someone else have an enriching 窪蹋勛圖厙 experience.
