The countdown is on! ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø School of Medicine students await Match Day today at noon.
From a skydiving instructor who wants to work in the emergency room, a student whose childhood diagnosis inspired a career in pediatrics and a couple matching together to a former gymnast whose injuries exposed her to work in orthopaedics, ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø medical students and their counterparts here and nationwide are eager for Match Day—arguably one of the most anticipated days in a medical student’s journey to becoming a physician.
Through the National Resident Matching Program, every medical student in the U.S. will open envelopes at noon local time today, Friday, March 21, to reveal where they’ll spend the next few years as residents.
