Lavender Celebration

Lavender Celebration first started at ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø in 2010. This annual event is a partnership between the LGBT Center, Pride Alumni Network, and the ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø Alumni Association aimed at recognizing the experiences and contributions of graduating LGBTQ+ students of the university and its affiliated schools.
The event typically features an address from the President of ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø, remarks from a student speaker, the awarding of certificates to and cording of graduates, and the awarding of the Douglas W. Nock Endowed Scholarship, the ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø Pride LGBT Ohio Leadership Award, the ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø Pride Outstanding Student Award, and the Prism Award.

Celebrate our first-generation students in the next steps of their professional lives with a ceremony and student speakers sharing their experiences as they graduate ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø.

Please join us at the 10th Annual Latine Graduation Ceremony. This ceremony is meant to celebrate the hard work of the Hispanic students at ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø! The event includes a dinner for graduates and their family and friends. It is free for all invitees, RSVP and bring all your loved ones!
