A Celebration of Collaboration and Career Exploration in Clinical and Translational Research
The Clinical and Translational Science Collaborative (CTSC) of Northern Ohio hosted a vibrant and impactful Research Discovery Day at ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø, bringing together researchers, students, and professionals from across the region for a day of collaboration, learning, and career exploration.
The event showcased a wide range of CTSC-supported research through engaging poster sessions, including Cleveland Clinic, MetroHealth, NEOMED, University Hospitals, University of Toledo, and VANEOHS. Attendees explored the many services and opportunities offered by the CTSC and its partners.
One of the event's biggest highlights was the participation of students from 20 neighboring high schools, who spent the day learning about the world of clinical and translational research. From a keynote speaker to career panels featuring professionals in roles like project management and clinical finance, students got an up-close look at the diverse paths into research and research support careers.
With interactive exhibits, engaging discussions, and a strong focus on inspiring future researchers, CTSC Research Discovery Day 2025 was a resounding success—celebrating collaborative science while sparking curiosity and ambition in the next generation.
